Brrrr..

Brrrrrrrrrr! It's getting coooold! Got home yesterday from stinky London, there the leaves mostly still held onto the trees but here they're all laying on the ground in orange brown piles.. Poor poor naked trees.. It's also pitch black outside and it's atm 4:51 PM..

Been neglecting me handywork lately as well, been sitting in Maya all day though.. Maya being the 3D modelling / animation program I use. So far a bed with a fluffy quilt is done, so is the one wall with a half open window and flowy curtains, on a rack I might add.. The I made a pot.. and a vase/pot filled with flowers.. only problem was the 2k tris count.. but bugger it.. Just finished a little table, will probably serve as bedside table! An why am I doing this? Well, got a handin for my uni course 3D modelling.. Have to create an area with stuffs of between 20k and 40k tris.. That would be polygons then..

Later we have to model a character, humanoid, so we got some to choose between and I lol'd because I can choose the sorceress from Warhammer online! She may be hard work but I may give it a try tbh..

Anyway.. back to me modelling..

My tyranid!

OMG. I haven't even mentioned my tyranid! or have I?..

I don't think I have so.. Well obviously I've started painting a little tyranid! Based with white, washed with leviathan purple, then I boned him.. no sorry that was bad...teeheehee.. though I did paint the bone parts with bleached bone, then washed him with ze purple again and another coat of bone.. and that's where I am now!

CRAP. Just noticed they look very pale, err, the purple looks very pale.. It's actually a nice dark purple, though it may need another coat tbh.. ah well, just thought I'd let you know...

Halloween and my big plans!

I have BIG plans! They may fail awfully though but I'll enjoy it no matter what!
My big plan involves green stuff, which I have never used.. Thus the failing part is included.. but I'll give it a go, used to love playing with playdoo and things like that when I was younger and it is some kind of putty so..

Also it's soon halloween and of course I've made a pumpkin! HA! It's teeny tiny but really nice, turned out pretty cool! Talking about halloween though, autumn is here to stay now, the trees outside are yellow and orange all over now, I shall take a picture to prove it as well!

You can probably by now start figuring out what I plan to do with the green stuff.. teeheee...

The pinkish chaos marine..

So I'm back in chilly autumny Sweden and I decided to paint, mind you I have like 10 paints including black and white so don't have much choice.. SOMEONE aka mr fiancée "borrowed" most of my paints a while ago and probably won't be getting many of them back, part from the doubles he now has..

Anyway, because of this scarce choice of colours I've used warlock purple and black, and that's it.. Well for now anyway, he looks a bit slaaneshy so I like it! Also this marine actually has a gravel base! Believe it or not, my first really based one, I do need to base the other terminators I have though, if I ever remember that is! The marine itself is not properly highlighted yet but the arm+gun part and backpack I reckon is pretty much done with highlight, the need other fixes though but this is my 1 hour race of half boredom!

Also talking about autumn, the colours outside are AMAZING! There's a tree down below from where I live and it's green, yellow, orange and red and it looks fab! And since autumn is here it's time to fetch my candles and go into cosy mode, though I still have my window open 24/7 part from when it decides to be a storm outside...

Warhammer World!

Hai!
I've now been to Warhammer World with mr fiancée and it's awesome! A lot bigger than we expected and just WOW! I've also hugged a space marine.... Had a very spicy and tasty meal in Bugmans bar and sipped some of mr fiancée's bugman brew! Part from eating and drooling over very nicely painted models I got myself a few and mr fiancée got some as well!

Going there got me in mega mood to paint though, tempted to do a tyranid now though as I have one undercoated and ready! Will probably follow a tutorial from the How to paint citadel miniatures book, so undercoat white, wash with leviathan purple then painty paint! These will apparently be white/boney with black carapace but I will see if I'm gna do some red and black ones, saw them in a huuuge diorama yesterday versus space wolves, absolutley amazing! Makes me wanna do one!

Oh well, these are the models I got yesterday!

Loving the changeling model! And got wizards as well, me like magic? Noooo...!
Anyway I shall paint some tyranids now in this mega heat and think of how to paint them models as well, got soooo much choice with the wizards, almost too much! Oh well..

Freehand'd

Yes, I did freehand.. The white scars symbol, on the little shield thing on my terminator! Woo! Turned out pretty good as well!

Ended up with 3 thin layers of white to make it a nice solid colour, sorted the purity seal as well and bone parts are now nicely boney! Anyway let's move on to the fun part! Pictures!

I'm pretty happy with it tbh, considering it's my.. err.. well, second terminator ever!

Next thing to paint will possibly be some tyranids since they've gotten sprayed a bit now so.. Oh well..

He's turning white!

Yes I've been gone for a while, oopsie..
Anyway, painted some on my white scar terminator yesterday and really, he's turning white now! Woo! I am tempted to do another one and try the "cheap" way of doing it with white undercoat and just wash it with black and then paint white on it again..

Oh well, one coat of white is done so far and I made the aquila/akila/aqila (how do you spell it?) golden, also "based" the parts which are gna be bone with Graveyard Earth! Bolter needs some highlighting and metal parts as well, did highlight the golden parts while I was at it yesterday.. I just need to put red on him somewhere! It's driving me mad.. Anyway, he's looking pretty good leaving black/dark grey in the recesses and yeah, can't highlight white so have to really work on leaving them there!

Just saw his foot is a bit messed up.. Oh well chaos black here we go..! And I can make his eyes red.. HA! And now I've made myself want to paint so I think I will put Mr Laptop away and get on with it..

The little white scar..

Well now, he's probably not small scale 1:1 but this baby is teeny tiny-ish.

He's basecoated black, then codex grey and i messed up a bit so did a badab black wash and then first layer of fortress grey.. so far!

I'm sure I painted the metal bits with boltgun metal as well.. but that's probably after I took this picture and since the model is 1,4k km away from me I can't take a fresh one, sowwy..

On another note I'm tempted to get a paintstation, mr fiancée has one and I abuse that thing.. no but seriously it's really good so tempted to get one! Wouldn't have to worry about putting paint all over my desk then either Woo!!

Anyway, I shall be playing games now, it cures my cold I swear!...

I've decided to paint a terminator, I'm gonna nick from mr fiancée, a white scars marine, hoho!
Just looking around for a little guide for colours, thing is the terminator is already undercoated black and damn it. I have no clue where the arms are... Grrrr. Need to look for them as well now, bumsauce.

Reckon I need to build up with gray first then go over to white, read about mega easy way but needed to be undercoated white, then just wash it with badab black and re highlight the plates white again... Oh well nothing's easy..

Oh! Also watched mr fianceé play Kill Team yesterday! Space Marine game for you who don't know.. It's coop but he played on his own, I was crawling into the laptop looking at earrings and bags and girly stuff... I LOVE INTERNET SHOPPING. Anyway. It looks bloody awesome that game! You get to choose a kind of Marine and off you go! You unlock buffs and weapons and stuff as you go along AND you get to kill them greenskins! HA! Unless my memory fails me (oi, no jokes now.) you could play a, err, Chaos soulgrinder, I think it's called that, looks like a demon upperbody attatched to metal octopus arms-ish.

Oh! When I'm still onto games, had a little eye on gamescon and EA and OMG I seriously jizzed in my pants when I saw the BF3 jets video, OMG OMG OMG OMG it will be awesooooooome! Can't wait for BETA and the real deal!!!

Also a little newsflash, I've stopped playing WAR because tbh, it's just farm farm farm renown and it bores the life out of me now. I'm now playing RIFT which is AWESOME!

Part from the lvl 50's spawn raping me in the lvl 20-30 area.. and Trion what do they say? "You're on a PvP server." So that makes it allowed fro lvl 50's to make it unplayable for lower lvls? (It was unplayable yesterday, a lvl ?? probably a 50 kept spawn raping me and mr fianceé constantly, we couldn't do bugger all, just got stunned 3 seconds later dead..) Trion's response is pretty much deal with it or change server. So mr fianceé actually said to them, (ish) "I will gather my guild mates and spawnrape guardians in every PvP area" (it's guardians vs defiants, we're defiants) and they told him to go ahead "it's allowed".
Silly?
OH YES.

I'm lvl 33 now I think, may rush to 50 and then it's rape time, and I won't stop, I will have revenge, but I bet I will get banned for it but the guardians can ofc do it, why not?

Crochetin' abooout

So yes, I found a little thing on the internet..

I've decided to crochet a bunny. Yaaah.... I've crocheted a bit before, first time was in school, I made a rastafari hat in pink black and beige.. I never wore it.

Took it up again after seeing these cute things called amigurumis which is basically crocheted figures like bunnies, bears and even pumpkins and cupcakes, BOOYAAH! And yes I made a pumpkin for halloween last year.. and a ghost.. and then I made christmas hats for mine and Mr Fianceé's dragons, and the baby dragon and the flump.. Also made some hearts..
ANYWAY!
I'm making a bunny. So far I've got the head stuffed and ready to be pierced with a needle to go on the body, which still need to be done... Started on one of the floppy ears as well, and something funny is my hand is aching.. Christ.
"AAwwhhh... My hand hurts!!!"
"What have you done?" (SOMEONE I KNOW would ask if I've used whipped cream by now. But it's okej, he's a FAIRY! HA!)

And no, not in RIFT, lol. And yes I'm playing RIFT, I'm on Whitefall server as well but yeah, also I have an awesome name and chloromancer is awesome.

ANYWAY!

Been making earrings, again, because I love earrings! Made some red ones for now because I'm not sure if I'm happy with the purple/black ones atm, it feels like the bead at the bottom of the chain is too small and I don't have any bigger black beads, so may have to go to Panduro Hobby one day and get some.. Unless I order off Ebay and ask Mr Fianceé to bring 'em for me...

Hint! I love ebay and most craft stuff are waaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper on there, especially if you're looking for 925 sterling silver or silver plated stuff, I hate gold because of the colour so that's a no go for me! (even my engagement ring is silver coloured, but it's actually gold, well white gold as they call it because of the colour..)

I also baked a chocolate cake today, thought why not and NOM it was tasty!

Oh well.. I should probably head to bed now.. Studying need to be done tomorrow..

Yeah... I'm up very late and I'm making earrings, though I think I've gotten make-up remover in my eye so it keeps tearing.. Grrr.

On another note I've made a succesful attempt to paint the horn on my chaos space marine, well another coat of bleached bone is needed, have to check if I have any at home..

Sorry I've been bad, very bad, at updating lately.. Been tons of stuff going on so it slipped my mind.

Have managed to paint a bit though and chaos space marine now have hornyish horns! Err. Well I've been working on the horns. Just leave it at that possibly, lol.

Bit meh as well because one of my bracelets broke yesterday, made it myself and it's hopefully not hard to fix but being in London without my jewellery making tools it's a bit impossible..

To cheer you up though, one of my feet are swollen (for a year and a half now...) because I stepped wrong a looong time ago so when my sock got "stuck" I had some fun!

Mr T is finished!

So I've now finished my terminator and to be my 3 or 4th actually finished model I'm well proud!
Been working on him a few hours a day for like 2-3 days and as I mentioned before have half followed the step by step guide from the How to paint citadel miniatures book (the ultramarines tutorial).

What's left is to do some kind of basing for it which my fiancé is going to help me with, either will be slate or cork, maybe some snow.. Ideas?

Next I will probably aim to finish my slaaneshy chaos space marine and then I'm veeeeery tempted to paint a space wolf!

Oh well here's the result and my finished terminator (unless I realize I've forgotten something, lol)

Well I had fun today! Mr Terminator now has a pair of arms that are painted and step 1 highlighted (space wolves grey is needed for a in your face highlight! (like on his very plate-y body..))

Anyway.. He's not fully done yet so keep that in mind when you admire his blueness, not SWG'd everywhere yet but it's a little taste..

Yeah, the arms aren't glued to him as you may notice, well.. It's easier to paint like that atm plus they weren't glued on when I found the model so.. HA!

Chaos and terminator!

Well, hello there..

Found some space marine terminators from the assault on black reach who were undercoated and half assembled so I thought I'd have some fun and paint one like an Ultramarine! I'm following(ish) the step by step guide from the book "How to paint citadel miniatures", really good book tbh and it has quite a few step by step guides and lots of tips for painting!

Anyway, mr terminator was undercoated with chaos black spray when I found him so I went from that, did a thin coat of ultramarine blue then washed him with a mix of regal blue and chaos black to get detail out and the recesses dark, then painted him with another thin coat of ultramarine blue and after that a little highlight on the edges with space wolves grey mixed with ultramarine blue.. Then I had a moment of LET'S INK HIM!!! and washed him with asurmen blue.. Possibly not one of my best moves though he looks nice but he does need another ultramarine coat to even the armorplates out..

This is what he looks like now though!

I also washed my purply little chaos marine with leviathan purple and omg that WAS a good move!! He looks very tasty, though in need of some highlighting and the rest of the painting, only done the armour.. HURR!

Teeheee teasy tease..?

Well, err. Working on a little photoshop thingie and thought I'd show a little tiny piece of it! It'll be 1080p so.. Got red on my mind for a few days now so I had fun googling it and found some nice inspirational pictures and off I went, lol!

Oh well here goes..

Have I mentioned I'm in London atm btw? Just thought I'd squeeze that in looking at the time.. Bob (my laptop) tries poking me in the eye telling me it's laaate, 1:26 but that's Swedish time! So Bob, cool down will you..? (he's boiling tbh.. prolly the Battlefield Bad Company 2 session's fault..)

Some more updates

Suddenly june has gone and july is here.. bit of a shock..
Went past Hobbycraft a few days ago to have a look around and get some stuffs, also checked out the yarn I found online and it was different from what I though.. I imagined quite a thick yarn but it was quite "slim" if you know what I mean, obviously I should've figured looking at what size needles you need lol.

Got some brushes and a little palette thing to mix my paints anyway and a mini mannekin! It's mega cute!

Also started on one of my chaos space marines, going for a pink/purple slaanesh-ish style (now that's a mouthful..), they're undercoated with chaos black spray and then watered down warlock purple mixed with some chaos black, first highlight is warlock purple with less chaos black in to make it lighter, will probably wash it down with some leviathan purple and then another highlight of warlock purple/chaos black and then bit more extreme with warlock purple only.. then i need to figure out the details.. skulls will probably be bleached bone/skull white, gun you can all but guess.. lol. think I have to see how it looks though.

Oh well here's some pictures!

So. I've now created a blog for myself to just put up random stuff on that I do, like painting warhammer models, photoshopping, animating, programming, taking pictures, writing etc. So like creative stuffs.

I will try to update as often as possible, even if it's just a "o hai I'm trying to paint pink orks again!".. Might end up putting little personal stories up as well in style with "I've been to H&M(AGAIN) and my fiancé hates it trololol", we'll see what this blog turns into shall we?

My name is Anna, I live in Stockholm in Sweden and I'm currently 21 years old. I have an awesome fiancé who is as nerdy as I am named Gary (<3), who also got me into warhammer.. I will begin my last year of three this autumn studying computer game development at university, will end up with a bachelor then. Err.. I do play quite a lot of pc games, used to be mostly FPS but now I'm stuck playing Warhammer online most of the time..
